Traditionally, education is seen as being tied to physical spaces. However, it is an ancient truth that learning can flourish beyond the four walls of an institution.
Aristotle, founder of one of the most important schools in history, understood that learning need not be limited by location. Since he was not a citizen of Athens, he was forbidden from owning property there. But that did not hinder him.
Aristotle and his colleagues met at the Lyceum and taught while strolling the pathways of Athens, or peripatoi. The school that emerged in 355 BC was thus known as the Peripatos, from peripatÄ“tikós, meaning 'tending to walk around’.
Academeum embraces this principle. We are a global network of teachers and education specialists, united by a vision of academic excellence that goes beyond geographical boundaries. We are not a school, and our ambition is not to replicate the traditional classroom experience. We believe we can surpass it.

Our small-group A Level seminars, limited to a maximum of ten students, ensure students receive a superior degree of individual attention and support while maintaining the benefits of collaborative learning. Our A Level admissions process is comprehensive and holistic. We consider each student's potential, ambitions, and individual circumstances through an admissions test, an interview, and discussions with parents.
